The Algarve Golden Race (Portugal) is probably the biggest One Loft Race in Europe. No less than 7,152 birds were entered for this race. We have bred five birds for this race and participate together with our friend Sylwester under the joint name Zielinski-Vercammen.
Our bird “Tonic 5”(BE26-6079358) won in the difficult Semi-final race (318km) the 11° prize against 4,086 birds (first Belgian bird on the result sheet). This result also places “Tonic 5” high in the Ace Pigeon standings with only the final race remaining!
“Tonic 5” has got the same father as “Iron Beauty”(BE25-6032313) who won in 2026:
