The newest member of our breeding team is the phenomenal racer “Olympic Elektro”(0264-13-400). This Olympic racer is a grandson to our famous breeder “Elektro”(B08-6174630). He was raced by our good friend Marek Trzaska. “Olmpic Elektro” has got some sensational records. Year after year he dominated the competition. He flew top prizes in hard and easy weather circumstances, but especially when the weather was tough he was able to beat all the other birds with a lead of several minutes.

Sensational "Olympic Elektro"
Now it is time to tell you something more about the details of his racing career. “Olympic Elektro” was born in June 2013 and was the youngest bird in the young birds team of Mr. Trzaska. He only flew a few training races in his year of birth. Therefore top results were only expected from him starting from the racing season 2015 but he immediately excelled in 2014 by winning the following prizes:
1° prize (145km) 6,305 p.
4° prize (332km) 3,834 p.
18° prize (182km) 6,312 p.
The season 2015 would be his first one as ‘captain of the team’. “Olympic Elektro” did not disappoint at all! He flew an incredible season. His ‘worst’ result was the 37° prize against 2,430 pigeons … impressive! Especially on the last two races of the season he showed his super class. On two difficult races with strong headwinds he won the first prize with a lead of 13 and 9 minutes on number two! With these top results he became 2nd National Ace-pigeon on the Middle Distance.

During the season 2016 he confirmed his status as racing monster. He flew many more top results. At the end of the year he was crowned as 1st National Ace-pigeon on the Middle Distance. “Olympic Elektro” became two seasons in a row 1st and 2nd National Ace-pigeon of his country. Has this often been done before? The last two races of his career demonstrated what kind of special bird “Olympic Elektro” is. On a 556km race he won the 7° prize against 5,184 birds. He needed one more top prize to be crowned as 1st Nat. Ace and 1st Olympic bird. The last race was however a 319km race, so 237km shorter than his previous race. It is not easy for a bird to win a top prize on a race when the distance of the previous race was much longer, this is commonly known. “Olympic Elektro” did not seem to care. Also on this shorter race he was again on top, he won the 1° prize against 1,623 pigeons. Extraordinary!

It is no surprise that with these incredible records, “Olympic Elektro” became 1st Olympic Ace-pigeon with big lead on number two. “Olympic Elektro” won the golden medal for being the best bird in Category B Middle Distance (300-600km)! Pigeons of over 20 countries were competing and there was no single bird able to come even near his records.
What is the origin of “Olympic Elektro”? His father is one of the best birds of Mr. Trzaska. He was 1st Pre-Olympic Ace-pigeon Cat. D All-round 2012 . He was three years in a row amongst the national ace-pigeons. In 2011 he became 1st National Ace-pigeon of Poland in the category All-round. In 2010 he became 6t Nat. Ace-pigeon, in 2012 he was 9th National Ace-pigeon.

After his brilliant racing career it is time for “Olympic Elektro” to pass his exceptional genes on the breeding loft. So far only two children of “Olympic Elektro” have been raced but their story is remarkable. In 2015 “Olympic Elektro” bred two babies, 0264-15-3167 and 0264-15-3168. One baby stayed at the loft of Mr. Trzaska, the nest-mate went to the young birds loft of another fancier. On exactly the same day – 30 August 2015 – these two children of “Olympic Elektro” won both a first prize, 1° against 3,982 birds and 1° against 3,822 birds!

“Olympic Elektro” is a beautiful pigeon. He is a rather middle sized bird. You could describe his body type as ‘the shape of a boat’. We think he is the perfect match to cross with our best hens of the “Mustang”(B14-6175237) family. We are convinced that he will turn out into a fantastic breeder at our loft!
