We had two races this weekend, the middle distance race Toury (382km – 2 nights of basket) and the short distance race Noyon (208km – 1 night of basket).
The Toury race on Saturday was a beautiful race with headwinds from start till end. We lost the 1st prize with only 8 (!) seconds. It still was a great result with the following prizes:

Fun fact: this clear open weather with head winds were clearly circumstances for the “Iron Man”(BE17-605089) family. Our first six arrivals were all descendants from him:

The 8° prize Toury (382km) against 3,315 birds was won by the blue hen BE24-6087263. Last year she already won 1° fast. National z. Argenton (552km) 1,452 p. / 4° National Argenton 5,812 p. . She is a half-sister to “Olympic Turbo Ito”(BE23-6062091).

The 10° prize Toury (382km) against 3,315 birds was won by the blue hen BE24-6087183. Her father is “Iron Man”(BE17-6025089). Her mother is “Blanca 1”(BE21-6138132), a super racing hen and a full sister to “Olympic Turbo Ito”(BE23-6062091).
The Noyon race this past Sunday was a real challenge with strong headwinds testing the birds' endurance. Since this group had a rest week, we were curious to see how they would handle the conditions—and they certainly delivered!

Our second arrival was the checkered cock BE25-6032095. He wins 1° Noyon / 574 p. in the category yearlings. As a young bird he already won 2° Noyon (208km) 1,910 p. (after a loftmate)! Earlier that season he was severely injured after a crash against the high-voltage cables, so that was already an impressive comeback. This talented yearling is a full brother to our famous “Olympic Turbo Ito”(BE23-6062091)!
