Today was the first weekend of national races. The weather forecast for today was very bad so we decided to be careful with our birds. No birds were entered for the national Limoges (675km) race. For the Bourges (479km) race we only entered a part of our racing hens. The most of our best racing hens stayed however at home. Our stars like for instance “Bambi”(B13-6026002), “Prada”(B14-6175059), “Ariana”(B14-6175056), the 4 daughters of “Mustang”(B14-6175237) and the 1° fast. Souppes 10,926 pigeons of two weeks ago all stayed at home. So it was a chance for the upcoming birds to prove their quality. And they did! It was a hard race today. The first birds flew +/- 1,250 mpm.

Last weekend we had two races: Souppes-sur-Loing (357km) and Vierzon (476km). The birds in Souppes were released on Saturday. The Vierzon race was postponed till Sunday. The Souppes-sur-Loing (357km) race was an extremely hard one with strong headwinds and scattered rain showers. The first pigeons hardly flew 1,100 mpm. It was a race for real punchers. Our pigeons proved once again that they are hard to beat in difficult weather circumstances. Pay attention as well to the high prize percentage!

由于上个礼拜比利时下雪了，所以这个周末才举办拿永赛208公里的第二场。这个周末的天气条件也很难飞，是吹东北风，也就是逆风。然而这却没有影响到我们的赛鸽获得优秀的成绩！

五月底即将开始比利时的全国联赛。我们的鸽子到目前只训放过短距离。中距离的比赛得在五月份的第一个礼拜才开始。 本周末的速度赛成绩给了我们很多的信心。

Last week our racing hens flew a training toss of about 25km. It was a smooth training. We missed however one bird. A day later this bird still hadn’t returned, so were convinced that this bird had an accident. She could have flown against the high tension wires, she could have been the victim of a hawk etc .

This is a beautiful white 2016 baby from the pair "Origi"(B13-6026050) x "Prada"(B14-6175059). Let's hope he will fly as good as he fights!

Poland is one of the upcoming countries in global pigeon racing. They have many motivated fanciers who try to breed the best possible racing birds. One of the absolute stars in Poland is Marek Trzaska. Over the years he has had different national ace-pigeons and Olympiad birds. His breeding loft is mainly based on Hok Jos Vercammen pigeons.

This weekend we have weaned the first 2016 babies. They look great and are very healthy. Let us hope new top racers will be amongst them!

Next Sunday (10 January 2016) our auction on the famous website PIPA will be ending at 17:00 Belgian Time (CET). We have selected with great care seven youngsters of our finest breeding couples. Below you can find the pictures of these pigeons.

This morning the third Hotspot Race in the famous Million Dollar Pigeon Race (South Africa) took place. Initially 4,450 birds were sent to this race. Before this Hotspot race 2,517 pigeons were still remaining. The temperature rose to 21°C and there was a rather strong headwind blowing. Our pigeon “Wer 3”(B15-6026440) arrived as 1° Belgian pigeon and 12° pigeon in the general result!

Tomorrow, Saturday 19 December 2015, our auction on the famous website PIPA will be ending at 16:00 Belgian Time (CET). In this auction you can find 12 youngsters from our very best breeders. The quality of these birds is really great … the best of the best!

A few days ago the Dutch fanciers Piet van de Woestijne and his friend Henk Verwoert paid us a visit. They have some Hok Jos Vercammen birds on their lofts and wanted to update us about the successes they had with these birds.
