The Thailand One Loft Race is known - and slightly notorious - for its high difficulty level. The weather circumstances are very hard. Only the best and strongest bird can prevail! Our birds seem to be perfectly suited for this One Loft Race. We have had many successes in this One Loft Race over the last years. In general we can say that our pigeons perform very well in tough conditions.
Also in this 2016 edition our birds performed excellently! Almost 1,500 pigeons were sent this year. For the final race (500km) 650 birds were remaining.

Currently we are selling 8 youngsters from our best breeders on the famous website PIPA. We dare to say that the quality of each of these youngsters is fantastic!

Today the KBDB has announced the official results for upcoming Olympiad 2017 in Brussels. Our top pigeon “Olympic Eva”(B14-6175226) is one of the three pigeons that will represent Belgium in the Category C Long Distance (+500km)!

Pigeon racing is booming in China. The number of pigeon fanciers in this country keeps increasing year by year which is an opposite trend in comparison to many other countries. For many Chinese people pigeon racing is a way of living. In China you can find many racing clubs and one loft races but the most famous organisation is without any doubt the Pioneer Loft in Beijing. We have sent youngsters from our own loft to the Pioneer race this year and they were very successful!

Coming weekend it is time for the famous ‘Golden Ten’ auction, organised by sport magazine ‘De Duif’. After the successful auction of last year we will participate again with some special pigeons.

Our national racing season ended on 10 September with the national Chateauroux race but we are still amusing ourselves with some short distance races. We are only racing young males on these races and no hens. The reason is that we have bred more young cocks than hens this year so we are using these races to make a final selection for next racing season!

You probably know that the national federation KBDB had canceled all the races for this weekend due to the hot weather forecasts. Luckily they finally decided to allow the short distance flights.
This meant that we had to send our youngsters to Noyon (208km) instead of the middle distance race Souppes-sur-Loing (354km).

We entered a bunch of youngsters on the middle distance race Souppes-sur-Loing (354km). For the most of these youngsters it was their first middle distance race ever in their career. Before they flew 2x 104km and 1x 208km. So you could call them quite inexperienced.

The national racing season is slowly approaching its final stage. Last weekend the national Argenton (555km) race was flown. Our birds were very dominant on the national level! The birds had to deal with headwinds the first 300km of the race. This made the racer tougher and gave our pigeons the chance to show their qualities.

Last weekend we entered a significant part of our racing team on the middle distance race Souppes-sur-Loing (354km). The weather was calm and therefore it was a perfectly normal race for the pigeons.

The month of August is right around the corner which means that the climax for young birds races is near. Our youngsters are currently flying short and middle distance flights to be ready for these races. Also our old birds racing team will participate to some interesting national races.

We sent birds to four races last weekend. It is obvious that we are in the peak of the racing season. We entered birds on the national races Jarnac (697km) and Chateauroux (526km). We sent young birds to the short and middle distance races Gien (410km) and Noyon (208km). The weather circumstances were rather hard with strong head winds in France. In Belgium there was however a tailwind blowing.

The month July is in Belgium the most intensive one for pigeon fanciers. Every week there are at least two national races and in the meantime the young birds are ready as well to participate to the middle distance races.

Our young birds flew their third official race of the season last weekend. It was the last race before they are sent to the middle distance flights. On the previous two races for youngsters we started each time with the 1° prize and we were hoping to complete the ‘hattrick’.

Our youngsters flew last weekend their second official race of the season. That is a few weeks later than in previous years because the weather in Belgium has been very unstable. That is why we had to postpone our start with the young birds.

If you ask people to describe the Belgian weather in one word, they would often say: rainy. This summer seems to be perfectly matching this description. The weather is very unstable and makes it hard for the pigeons. Different lofts are already ‘knock-out’ for the rest of the season. Luckily we have always tried to breed birds that can perform in difficult weather circumstances.

In previous article we discussed our top results in the national Montlucon (555km) race. We had two other races as well: the middle distance race Melun (310km) and the short distance race Noyon (208km). On both races we had very good results!

We had no less than 3 races past weekend. In this article we will discuss the national Montlucon (555km) race. It was again a tough race. The birds had to stay in the basket during 3 nights.

Last weekend we had our second national race of the season, Chateauroux (526km). The national KBDB decided to advance the national Chateauroux race with one day, due to the bad weather forecast on Saturday. This means the birds were released on Friday.

The national Chateauroux (526km) race was a tough race today. As expected the most early birds on the national level were – due to the wind from the East – to be found in the provinces East and West Flanders.

As you may know the races of last week had been cancelled due to the bad weather forecast. The weather for coming weekend is again not so perfect, so the national KBDB decided to advance the national Chateauroux race with one day. This means the birds will fly tomorrow (Friday) instead of Saturday! The middle distance race Souppes-sur-Loing will fly nevertheless on Saturday. The transport company did not have the resources to release these birds on Friday as well.

由于上个周末的气象预报非常悲观，我们决定不参与“利蒙治”（675公里）的比赛。另外，我们也决定减少参加“波治赛”（479公里）的数量。前几场最优秀的那几羽雌鸽都没参加。这些雌鸽都是“Mustang野马号”的直女：“Bambi斑比”B13-6026002、“Prada普拉达”B14-6175237、“Ariana阿瑞雅娜”B14-6175056。这也是让其它佛卡门的鸽子来发挥和证明自己的实力最好的时机，然而它们的确没让我们失望。这场“波治赛”特别难飞，比利时的冠军鸽分速是1250米/分钟。上周六，整天不断地刮风下大雨，而且许多好鸽子都丢失了。幸好我们所有的鸽子都回来了。我们荣获了全国一岁鸽第18名（共19.889羽），并且有两羽成鸽入赏了全国前85名（共19.735羽）。
