The national racing season is slowly coming to its end, with yesterday’s penultimate national race from Argenton (552 km). It turned out to be a fast one, and although the season has already finished for our top yearlings and old birds, our remaining team once again showed their class – achieving no less than two national Top 10 positions.

With the national Argenton race postponed to next week, all eyes were on Noyon (208km) this weekend. Sunday offered perfect racing conditions: sunshine and headwinds. And once again, our birds showed what they do best this season — winning the race!

The weather conditions were not in our favor last weekend , but our top hen “BMW” (BE23-6062272) did it again! Battling strong westerly winds, she came home like a rocket.

Our birds continue their winning streak! In the middle-distance race from Melun (310 km), our birds delivered another great result. It was a race with moderate headwinds.

Bingo! Our super hen “Maété 2”(BE23-6062110) took the national victory on the national Bourges (504km) race last weekend! We are so proud of her. She won 1° fast. National Bourges (504km) 19,188 pigeons (1,415 m/m)! We never expected her to win the national race, she delivered an amazing performance. The weather (wind) circumstances were certainly not in her favor.

Our top yearling hen “Super Widow”(BE24-6087132) won this weekend on a tough race (30-35°C) 1° Provincial Melun (310km) 961 pigeons!

We should have started this message a new with a fresh hymn of praise for the super cock “Turbo Ito” (BE23-6062091), who claimed first prize from Noyon with great flair. If only he hadn’t — and I kept a close eye on the clock — circled around the loft for 2 minutes and 34 seconds. You can probably imagine just how calm (lol) my father and I remained at that moment. Now he ends up taking second prize, just behind his loftmate BE23-6062067. She is a daughter to “Golden Elektro”(BE19-6016058). “Turbo Ito” (BE23-6062091) is a hugely talented pigeon — but when it comes to trapping, it’s clearly his kryptonite. Entering the loft quickly has been his weak spot for weeks now. The week before, in Orléans, he also threw away a sure victory.

The Noyon (208km) was released on Monday instead of on Sunday. The birds had to stay in the basket for two days. On their way back home the birds had to deal with headwinds (NE wind). This resulted in a beautiful race with top birds widely spread both in width and in length across the area.

Today was the second race of the season for our racing cocks, and once again they delivered an outstanding performance! It was a rather chilly day, with cold morning temperatures and a strong headwind from the north.

Our checkered Cock “Turbo Elektro”(BE24-6087111) won the title of 2nd Provincial Ace Pigeon KBDB Antwerp in Short Distance – a prestigious honor in the world of pigeon racing. Antwerp, the heart of short-distance pigeon racing, is renowned for its elite short distance competitions, making this win even more meaningful.

Once again, the national race from Bourges (504km) put our birds to the test. From Bourges to Paris, they faced light headwinds, but as they moved closer to Belgium, the conditions changed with rising winds, primarily from the west. Especially in Belgium, the wind was blowing quite hard. These were not the perfect circumstances for us, but our pigeons rose to the occasion and once again dominated the national results. Their performance was nothing short of spectacular. We kicked off the race with a 2nd National thanks to our star flyer "Black Elektro" (BE22-6020131). And to top it off, we claimed 1st National zone in both the old birds and yearlings categories!

Let us present you “BMW”(BE23-6062272). Yesterday she was the fastest old bird of the whole release ( 1° / 1,977 birds) on the very difficult Sermaises (362km) race!

We had a great result on the national Argenton (552km) race! The birds were released on Sunday which meant three days of basket for the pigeons. We won 6°, 13° and 32° National Argenton against 8,343 old birds!

Earlier this year we sent two pigeons to the Mira One Loft Race (Portugal). We were invited by the KBDB to send two birds to this OLR for the Belgian delegation being the 1st National Champion KBDB Great Middle Distance. Of course we accepted this honour.
