Receiving messages from fanciers who race well with Vercammen pigeons always makes us happy and proud. Our family of pigeons is performing very well in Taiwan. Year after year they breed winners.
For those who are not familiar with these Taiwanese races, they can read here a short description. After some qualifying races to train the birds, the six main races start. The pigeons have only got a limited time to get home. If they are too late, they are disqualified and can’t participate to the next race. An additional difficult factor is that the pigeons need to cross the sea on their way back home. This distance over the sea goes from 150km till 300km! Of course, flying across the sea is not easy for the pigeons. Luckily most pigeons made it home from these extremely hard flights. After these six main races, they make a ranking of the best Ace-pigeons.
Mr. Chu has already had many successes with off springs of the Vercammen pigeons. Also in 2019 this was the case. He is member of a big racing club. More than 9,000 pigeons were subscribed for the Winter North Sea Race. He only sent 10 pigeons to this competition. Three of them were amongst the Ace-pigeons. Mr. Chu had Ace-pigeon number 6, 37 and 62! They have all got the Vercammen blood in their veins. These three Ace-pigeons are closely related to our famous breeders “Barco”(B01-6387350), “Beckham”(B01-6387174) and “Aladdin”(B09-6248081).
Former super breeder "Beckham"(B01-6387174)
"Aladdin"(B09-6248081) won 1° fast. National Bourges (479km) against 64,621 pigeons
Congratulations to Mr. Chu!
Below you can read the message that he sent us.
