Our first arrival was the dark checkered cock “Money Maker”(B19-6016105). He is really a beautiful bird, middle sized with a great wing and impressive muscles. Normally we don’t give any names to young birds but for this lad we made an exception. He has got a special story. In the start of the middle distance season our young birds had to struggle with a very difficult race, the provincial Fay aux Loges flight. A very strong sidewind pushed the birds away in the direction of Germany. Especially for the non-experienced youngsters this was a challenging race. “Money Maker”(B19-6016105) lacked the necessary experience and he returned only after 4 days. We let him recover. He trained with the other youngsters but he did not participate to the races. In the middle of August we decided to re-enter him on the races. He was ready. We sent him straight away to a 310km race. This was the start of a great trilogy! Every week he could be found in the head of the race.

The babies of “Olympic Elektro”(PL0264-13-400) are flying great at our loft. They can easily win top prizes, also in tough weather circumstances. The hen B18-6020336 is a result of the coupling grandchild “Elektro” x grandchild “Elektro”.
