We are always proud to receive messages from fanciers who race well with the descendants of our pigeons. The Vercammen pigeons are for instance very popular in Taiwan. The last years many Taiwanese Ace-pigeons were won with Vercammen blood in the pedigree. In the Hsinchu region the 1st Ace-pigeon of this year’s spring race was a 50% Vercammen pigeon. There were 4,000 pigeons competing for this title.
This pigeon was raced by the combination Mr. Zeng Guo Hung and Mr. Zeng Neng Huang. This pigeon was really outstanding. In the fifth and sixth race this pigeon won the 2° and 1° prize! The final race was the hardest one. The bird needed to fly 400km from which 300km were over the sea. Luckily most pigeons made it home from this extremely hard flight. As said before, this pigeon is a 50% Vercammen bird. The mother is an original Vercammen bird and bred from the “Barco”(B01-6387350) and “Elektro”(B08-6174630) lines.

Also the 9th and 13th Ace-pigeon were from the Vercammen breeding lines. They are 100% Vercammen birds, bred and raced by the top racer Mr. Green. His breeding loft is mainly based on the Hok Jos Vercammen pigeon. Mr. Green sent us the below mentioned e-mail to inform us about the good news.

"Hello Mr. Vercammen:
I wish to inform about the success your family of pigeons has in Taiwan.
This year’s spring edition was a very hard one, there are total six races and about 4000 pigeons in my club to participate in the competition.
In each race only about 30% to 50% on time to qualify for the next race, and this time only about 100 pigeons were left for the fifth race.
My pigeons win ace title 9th and 13th (5 races in roll with very changeable spring weather on the north sea in Taiwan), they are all from your pedigree, but they don’t come back on limited time in the sixth race . ( but they do come back after time end )
In sixth race the pigeons need to fly at least 300km over the sea , the maximum distance is 400m ,my club only 8 pigeons come back on limited time. The 1st ace pigeon also has 50% of the Vercammen pedigree. (in total six races)
佛卡門先生您的鴿子又再一次在台灣海翔有出色的成績
今年在台灣北海剛結束的春季比賽又有好的成績,大約4000羽參加比賽,共有6場比賽,經過每場淘汰30%~50%的鴿子,來到第5場比賽大約只剩100羽的鴿子,
在第6場比賽鴿子必須飛越300km的海面再加上逆風及炎熱的天氣,共大約需飛行400km才能到達目的地,我的鴿會只回來了8羽鴿子(其中冠軍也擁有佛卡門50%的血系),是非常艱難的比賽,很可惜我擁有您的血系鴿子在比賽時間結束後才歸返,它們只贏得5場比賽的第9名及第13名,但6場比賽的冠軍也一樣擁有佛卡門50%的血系,非常恭喜您
