Beneath you can read an overview of some successful one loft races of the past weeks! 1. On the 13th of December the final race of the Thailand Grand Pigeon Race took place. The pigeons were released in Chaing Mai and had to fly a total distance of 560km. It became an extremely difficult race. The first day only three birds returned! A day later 86 birds of the 656 entered birds got back. Don’t forget that this one loft race started with more than 1,500 birds! Our super pigeon B12-6196367 didn’t disappoint us once again! 2. Two weeks ago another final race was flown in Wutaishan (China). The place of liberation was Zou Cheng. That is about 430km from the loft. It was a difficult race; the first pigeon flew only 1,182 mpm.
For the final race 1,860 birds were entered. Our first bird won the 16° prize on this final race. The same pigeon became 5th Ace-pigeon too! It was the checkered hen B12-6196386 who won these prizes.
The mother of B12-6196386 is “Panter Lady”(B09-6248530). She is an inbreeding product to our basic pigeon “Panter”(B86-6056506). “Panter Lady” is a.o. mother to our top youngster “Primus”(B12-6196030).

It was a very difficult One Loft Race, almost all the races were held in tremendous heat exceeding 35 degrees and head wind. The youngster proved to be very good, in fact it was the single pigeon to win prize in every race. In this way it became 1st ACE Pigeon and the only pigeon with 100% prizes from all the participants. I just want to thank you, even if I got the hen indirectly from you. Maybe this news will bring you some joy and another proof for the quality of your birds. 4. The last one loft race brings us to the USA. Mr. Craig had the 1st Ace-pigeon in the Spirit of Colorado One Loft Race.
The mother of this bird is a 100% Vercammen pigeon (through Elton Dinga)! In the pedigree of the bird we find several times our basic pigeon “Panter”(B86-6056506) back. The grandmother of the bird is a full sister to “Beauty”(B05-6234009).

Every generation has its top breeders. The previous generation had “Barco”(B01-6387350) and “Beckham”(B01-6387174) as absolute stars. The decade before “Panter”(B86-6056506) and “Yasmine”(B90-6244831) were indispensable. One of the new ‘young gods’ is without any doubt “Mambo”(B08-6144041).
Superstar "Mambo" He has got first of all a fantastic origin. He is a.o. a full brother to “Porto”(B03-6287006), 4th National Ace-pigeon KBDB middle distance! A half-brother to him, “Tibo”(B04-6058030), won 1° fast. Toury (382km) 11,313 pigeons. The father of “Mambo”(B08-6144041) is super “Deco”(B01-6387351). It is also from this breeding line that Houben J.L.N. bred famous “Pinocchio”(B98-6210287), a 50% Vercammen bird. “Pinocchio” won 1° S.-national Argenton 9,864 p.

Especially in difficult weather circumstances he was an amazing bird. “Mambo”(B08-6144041) won the following top records: 1° Argenton (555km) 419 p. 8° Issoudun (504km) 490 p. 18° Pithiviers (373km) 1,043 p. However he was only introduced on the breeding loft in 2011, his impact has already been quite immense. His best and probably most famous child is “Vitara”(B10-6052150). In hard circumstances "Vitara" was almost unbeatable. We don’t think that there is a better bird on races with an average speed of 1100-1200 mpm. This resulted this year in the prestigious title 1st Provincial Ace-pigeon KBDB Antwerp semi-long distance (450-600km).

The end of the racing season in Belgium means the start of different one loft races worldwide. One of them is the Thailand Grand Pigeon Race. We already had different successes there. The first preliminary races have been flown. One pigeon is currently outstanding and … is a pigeon from our loft! It is the checkered hen B12-6196367. She already won 2x 1° prize! This weekend the last race of the ‘Tour of Belgium’ took place. The pigeon were now released in Arlon (187km), in the eastern part of Belgium near Luxembourg. This is a kind of race that the birds are not used to fly. It became a great ending of the season! Our result was the following: Against 171 youngsters: 1, 2, 3, 4, 9, 13, 14,… 20/32 The bird that won the 1° prize is B12-6196354. This blue hen is a direct daughter to basic hen “Kitty”(02-00825433)! Her father is “Thunderbolt”(B08-6144141). The nest-sister of B12-6196354 was our first nominated bird and was early too on this race! She won the 14° prize.

The last two weeks two more races of the ‘Tour of Belgium’ took place. The races took place in completely different circumstances. On the 29th September the birds were released in Rumes (112km). It was a very fast race. Too bad our birds did not enter the loft quickly; otherwise we would have had an amazing result. Now it was still a good result. We started with the 3° and 4° prize against 262 pigeons and had 35 prizes of 43 entered birds. Our first pigeon was B12-6196314. His father is a full brother to “Aladdin”(B09-6248081), 1° fast. National Bourges (479km) 64,621 pigeons. His mother is a direct daughter to “Paulo”(B09-6248171). Our second bird was B12-6196303. This blue cock is a direct son to our amazing hen “Shakira”(B10-6052293). “Shakira” is one of the super children of our top couple “Elektro”(B08-6174630) x “Gloria”(B06-6270117). In two years we have already bred five top children of “Shakira”. That is why we decided to stop racing “Shakira” and transfer her to the breeding loft. The father of B12-6196303 is a grandson to “Barco”(B01-6387350).
On the 6th October the bird were released in Herstal (89km). Herstal is situated in the eastern part of Belgium, so it was not a ‘standard’ race for the pigeons. They had to deal with a lot of rain too. It became a very hard race. The first pigeon flew 2 hours and 16 minutes for a 89km race and the race was open till the day after! We won the 1° prize on this race against 259 pigeons. It was the hen B12-6196291. The remarkable thing about her is that she is a completely white pigeon! Her father is a grandson to “Barco”(B01-6387350). Her mother is a full sister to “Bambina”(B10-6052002) and therefore a grandchild to “Barco”(B01-6387350).

The national races are over but the racing season is not finished yet. There are still the traditional 100km races but also a special series of races is organized, the ‘tour of Belgium’. Each week the birds are released on a completely different location. It could be at the seaside, which is completely in the western part of Belgium, or in Limburg, which is completely in the eastern part of Belgium. This weekend the birds were released in Oostende, which is at the Belgian seaside. The total distance to Vremde is 112km. It was a difficult race with scattered rain showers. The first birds flew only a bit above 1,200 mpm. Our result was the following: Samenspel Groot Brecht 279 youngsters: 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 15,... 32/47 The bird that won the first prize is B12-6196304. This blue hen is a direct daughter to our amazing hen “Shakira”(B10-6052293). “Shakira” is one of the super children of our top couple “Elektro”(B08-6174630) x “Gloria”(B06-6270117). After a short break we are back in Belgium. It is a time now for an overview of the results of the last two weeks. Two weeks ago the national race from Gueret (590km) took place. The results were really good. Our pigeons won the following results: Club St. Job 457 youngsters: 2, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 19, 20, 21, 24, 26, 27, 32, 35, 39, 42, 48,… 35/77 Club St. Job 186 old birds: 3, 4, 7, 10, 12, 14,… 22/28 National z. 1,195 old birds: 11, 18, 26, 34, 47, 50, 90, 91, 96,… 22/28 National z. 5,726 youngsters: 34, 63, 70,… Our first youngster was B12-6196217. This blue cock is a very talented bird. He flew two semi-national races from Blois this year. He was once our first arrival and once our third arrival. B12-6196217 won a.o.: The father of this very talented youngster is “Broken Panter”(B06-6173123) who is a.o. father to our top hen “Michèle”(B11-6282012).

He was only beaten by our own youngster B12-6196014, a full sister to “Vitara”(B10-6052150)! Our sixth youngster was B12-6196185. This dark hen is a direct daughter to superstar “La Bomba”(B10-6052045))!

The last national race of the season, Gueret (590km), took place this weekend. The weather circumstances were very difficult because of the high temperature. Our first pigeons flew eight hours. Our birds did it very well. Certainly when you know that we let almost all our best youngsters at home. Our pigeons won the following results: Club St. Job 457 youngsters: 2, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9, 19, 20, 21, 24, 26, 27, 32, 35, 39, 42, 48,… 35/77 National 17,007 youngsters: probably 5 pigeons in the top 150, beginning with the 52° prize Our top youngster B12-6196014 was again in the head of the race. She was crowned as 1st Ace-pigeon on the national races in our strong club St. Job. She has won on all the national races the big money, something that has never been done before! B12-6196014 is a full sister to our superstar “Vitara”(B10-6052150)!

There were two races this weekend, Noyon (208km) and the national La Souterraine (593km) race. La Souterraine was released on Saturday, Noyon on Sunday. On Saturday there was an incredible strong tailwind. The velocity of the first pigeons rose to 1,950 mpm! They wind on Sunday was less strong. As a result the first pigeons flew ‘only’ 1,500 mpm. The Noyon (208km) result was really good. They won the following prizes: BAB 667 jongen duiven: 1, 2, 4, 6, 7, 13, 18, 25, 31, 39, 42, 43, 46, 49, 51, 56, 64,… 35/51 The first prize winner was the new superstar “Primus”(B12-6196030). He won two weeks ago 1° Provincial Argenton (555km) 3,264 pigeons / 4° National z. Argenton 8,624 pigeons and wins now 1° Noyon (208km) 667 p.! His father is “Colour Panter”(B06-6270462), a grandson to “Panter”(B86-6056506). “Colour Panter” has already bred many good birds. The mother of “Primus” is a daughter to our superstar “Paulo”(B09-6248171) x a granddaughter to “Panter”(B86-6056506).
"Primus" won the 1° Provincial Argenton 3,264 youngsters and 1° Noyon 667 pigeons “Primus” is a very special bird. He isn’t paired with a hen. He simply doesn’t care about the other pigeons on the loft. He is just ‘doing his own thing’. He won the provincial Argenton race in very hard circumstances. Now he wins a short distance race with tailwind. He is definitely a bird to keep an eye on for the future!
"Colour Panter" is a grandson to "Panter" Our second bird was B12-6196223. This blue cock won the 2° prize. He is bred off a son of “Barco”(B01-6387350) x a full sister to “Paulo”(B09-6248171). That means that the mother is again a child from the super couple “Elektro”(B08-6174630) x “Gloria”(B06-6270117). Our third bird was B12-6196240. The parents of this blue cock have both won top prizes! Our fourth bird was B12-6196319. It was the first time that this blue hen flew a race above 100km. She won immediately the 6° prize (after 3 loftmates). She is a daughter to our top breeder “Tesco”(B07-6403717), a son to “Beckham”(B01-6387174). The mother of B12-6196319 is again a full sister to “Paulo”(B09-6248171) and therefore a child to “Elektro”(B08-6174630) x “Gloria”(B06-6270117).

Despite the fact that they had a big disadvantage against the Eastern part of Antwerp, they did it very well on the provincial level. The second race this weekend was the national Argenton (555km) race. We won the following results: Club St. Job 512 youngsters: 1, 11, 12, 15, 20, 25, 30, 39, 41, 46, 51,... Club St. Job 201 yearlings: 1, 4, 7, 9, 11, 12, 14, 15, 16, 17, 20, 24, 25, 26,... Club St. Job 78 old birds: 1, 4, 6, 7, 8,... Provinciaal 3,264 youngsters: 1, 73, 77, 84,… 27/55 This means two provincial victories on one day, just like last week! The 1° Provincial Argenton (555km) against 3,264 youngsters was won by “Primus”(B12-6196030). His father is “Colour Panter”(B06-6270462), a grandson to “Panter”(B86-6056506). “Colour Panter” has already bred many good birds. It was a very hard day for the pigeons this Saturday. The weather was hot and there was a strong wind on the head. There were two races, Dourdan (366km) and the national Argenton (555km) race. There were five first prizes to be won: Dourdan young birds + old birds and Argenton young birds + yearlings + old birds. We won five times the first prize, really incredible! From Dourdan we won the following results in Union Antwerpen ZAV: Against 2,489 youngsters: 1, 2, 3, 8, 9, 10, 11, 13, 21, 29, 31, 39, 40, 43, 56, 57, 72, 74, 86, 88, 89,... 56/83 Against 214 old birds: 1, 2, 12, 17, 19,... 12/15 Our first three youngsters arrived together! Our first youngster was B12-6196238. She wins the 1° prize against 2,489 pigeons! This checkered hen is a direct daughter to “Elodie”(B11-6282062). “Elodie” won the week before the 1° Semi-national Blois (462km)! The father of B12-6196238 is a full brother to “Darya”(B09-6248092). The nest-sister of B12-6196238 was early too. She wins the 39° prize against 2,489 pigeons. From the parents we have only bred these two youngsters so far. They both have won a top prize in difficult circumstances; this is very promising for the future!

There were two races this weekend, the semi-national race Blois (462km) and the national race Tulle (657km). The weather was fine and there was an upcoming wind from the South. Both races were very successful for us. We won 1° National z. Tulle and 1° Semi-national Blois! The first race that will be discussed is the national race Tulle (657km). It was a record edition. No less than 17,068 birds were released. The result was the following: Provincial 1,211 yearlings: 1, 5, 16, 24, 36, 40,… 9/13 Our first bird was the blue white flight yearling “Polar”(B11-6282013). There were two big races today, Blois (462km) and Tulle (657km) From Tulle (657km) we won 1° Provincial 1,226 p. 1° National z. +/- 4,500 p. 7° National 10,251 p. The prelim. provincial result is the following: Against 1,226 pigeons: 1, 5, 13, 18, 25, 28,... (13 pigeons in the race) On the national level it will be probably 4 pigeons in the top 100! Past weekend the big national race from Bourges (479km) took place. The weather on Saturday was again not good so they were released on Sunday. That means that they needed to stay three days in the basket. The wind was blowing from the West. This had as a result that the most of the early birds were located in the eastern part of Belgium. As we are living in the middle part of Belgium it was difficult for our birds to fly national top prizes. Nevertheless, our birds did a great job by having a great prize percentage. They won different top prizes too. There were 58,069 birds (old birds, yearlings and youngsters) in the race. Probably we will have five birds in the national top 100. We have 36 prizes of 57 entered youngsters, 23 prizes of 38 entered youngsters and 8 prizes of 14 entered old birds. On the national level our prize percentage will be even higher! In our strong club St. Job the result was the following: Against 716 youngsters: 5, 6, 12, 15, 21, 22, 23, 27, 32, 42, 55, 56, 57, 61, 67, 70, 71, 73,... Our first two birds were the sisters B12-6196092 and B12-6196014. They won the 70° + 88° National against 33,461 pigeons. B12-6196014 was our first nominated bird and grabbed all the money. This is the fourth top prize that she wins this year. She already won 1° Dourdan (366km) against 429 pigeons. They are both coming from our new fantastic breeding pair “Mambo”(B08-6144041) x “Viola”(B07-6221074). That means they are full sisters to the amazing “Vitara”(B10-6052150).

The weather circumstances changed completely past weekend. The strong tailwinds made room for headwinds. The temperature rose to 25°C. As a result the races became much harder than the weeks before. There were three races this weekend: Noyon (208km), Dourdan (366km) and Souillac (733km). First a bit more about the national race from Souillac (733km). It was a very hard race. The birds stayed four days in the basket. Our first bird flew 11 hours and 11 minutes! Our first three birds arrived in four minutes. Really incredible! It resulted in the following results: Club St. Job 110 old birds: 1, 2, 3,… Our first bird was “Darya”(B09-6248092). She is really a great long distance hen. “Darya” is a daughter to “Callisto”(B06-6270275) x “Jana”(B06-6270070), a breeding couple of which we have already bred multiple good racers, especially on the +500km races.

“Darya” won a.o.: Our second bird was “Wiggo”(B10-6052097). This blue cock is a very skilled racer and wins top prizes from 200 till 750km! This year he returned from Limoges without any feathers in his tail. We were forced to stop racing him for a few weeks. Souillac was his first important race and he wins immediately a top prize! His father is our breeding cock “Rocco”(B08-6144092) who is on his turn a grandson to “Beckham”(B01-6387174). His mother is a full sister to “Porto”(B03-6287006).

“Wiggo” won a.o.: Our third bird was “Bentley”(B10-6052028). This splendid blue cock is – in our humble opinion – very talented for the long distance races. Last year he won the 2° prize on Tulle (657km). He arrived at 9.30 pm! It was almost completely dark and raining like hell. One year later he wins the third prize on Souillac, after two loftmates, after having flied over eleven hours under the burning sun. The father of “Bentley” is “Winothai”(B07-6221588), a direct son to “Beckham”(B01-6387174). The mother of “Bentley” is “Nissa”(B08-6144261), a full sister to “Porto”(B03-6287006). He is again a child to our fantastic breeding hen “Miss Universe”(B07-6221587), a daughter to “Beckham”(B01-6387174). “Miss Universe” is the nest-sister to “Winothai” who is the father to the above mentioned “Bentley”. He arrived many minutes before the other birds and would have won two times the first prize if he would have been entered ‘for real’. The third race of the weekend was Noyon (208km). Our second team of youngsters was entered. It was their first official race of the season. They did it very well. There were two important races this weekend, the national race from Limoges (675km) and the interprovincial race from Bourges (479km). The weather was again not good. Because of the bad weather, the birds were released one day later than planned. The birds from Limoges stayed therefore 4 days in the basket, the Bourges birds 3 days. However, also on the day of release the weather was bad. The first race was the interprovincial race from Bourges (479km). At the time that the birds needed to arrive, it started to rain like hell. The birds arrived completely soaked. This made it a difficult race. Luckily all our birds returned in this difficult weather, including all the 55 youngsters we entered! Only the first birds have been published so far. We win the 2° + 3° Interprovincial against 5,156 pigeons! They were of the whole release also the 2° + 3° fast. against 9,716 pigeons! Past weekend the weather was the same as the weeks before: moderate temperatures and very strong winds. That is not the type of weather that our pigeons prefer! The velocities rose to over 100 km/h! There were three races this weekend: Dourdan (366km), Montlucon (555km) and Brive (707km). From Dourdan (366km) we started with the 24° prize against 2,763 pigeons. We had 34 prizes of 72 entered youngsters. That is a good result with such strong tail winds, living in the fore fly of the federation. Our first bird was B12-6196054. There will be only a short briefing this time. The last weeks have been very busy (exams) and the same counts for next week. The Belgian weather has been very stereotypical the last four weeks: moderate temperatures and very strong winds. Unfortunately the wind is coming from the South-West so this means strong tailwinds. This weekend it was again the case. Depending of the race the first birds flew between 1650 and 1750 mpm. This is not the kind of races that our pigeons like most. They excel on difficult races. However they did it very well and we are happy about their results. On the national race Argenton (555km) the first birds flew over 1,650 mpm or 100 km/h! We will have four pigeons (or maybe six) in the national top 100. There were a lot of pigeons in the race. All together 34,781 pigeons were entered (12,447 old birds and 22,334 yearlings ). All the results are not known yet but in our club St. Job we have 30 prizes of 42 entered yearlings and 5 prizes of 9 old birds. Two old birds arrived at the same time. Past weekend was a very busy one. There were different races, not only for the old birds but also for the youngsters. They were all fast races because there was quite some tail wind! Because of that not all the pigeons came from the ‘normal’ direction. The weather circumstances were not as difficult as on the two previous national races Bourges and Chateauroux. From the national race Montlucon (555km) we have different top prizes. With the old birds we start with the 9° and +/- 80° National against 17,432 pigeons. With the yearlings we start with the 60° and 61° National against 22,672 pigeons. We have 8 prizes of 13 entered old birds and 21 prizes of 46 entered yearlings. Our first bird was “Shakira”(B10-6052293). This season she has flown three national races. We did not race many birds past weekend. Our racing team had a very intensive program the weeks before. We gave them a 60km training race instead. Coming weekend they will be entered for two national races: Montlucon (555km) and five birds will go to Cahors (776km). We entered some birds on Chateauroux (526km), mainly yearlings with few experience. The weather circumstances were not like the weeks before. Now there was a strong tailwind. The official result is not known yet but we are expecting a 50% prize percentage. Our youngsters flew their first official race of the season. They were entered for Noyon (208km). It was quite a risk because the youngsters had very few experience. No birds were lost, we started with the 4° prize against 403 birds and we had 26 prizes of 60 entered birds. Three races were flown this weekend: Limoges (634km), Chateauroux (526km) and Dourdan (366km). Limoges and Chateauroux were national races. The circumstances were again hard, with a headwind from the East. From Chateauroux (526km) we won the 2° and 11° Provincial against 1,762 old birds + 15° Provincial against 2,139 yearlings. On the national level we started with the 22° National against 16,477 pigeons. This is quite a performance because all the early birds were in the fore fly! We have 11 prizes of 15 entered old birds and 33 prizes of 48 entered yearlings. Our first bird was “Mariana”(B10-6052273). This black hen is a full sister to superstar “Jonge Panter”(B09-6248211), 2° fast. National Bourges (479km) 64,621 pigeons! That means that he is a half-brother to super performer “Vitara”(B10-6052150)! “Mambo” is quite new on the breeding loft but he already turned into one of the crown jewels! We expect more great results from him in the future!

Past weekend it was time for the first national race of this year, Bourges (479km)! It was a really hard race, with a strong wind from the East and a high temperature. The first semi-long distance race of the year, Vierzon (476km), took place this weekend. The weather was really good. The first birds reached an average velocity of 1370 mpm. There were 6,700 old birds and 3,410 yearlings in the race. This makes that all together 11,010 pigeons were released in Vierzon. We entered all our hens and 11 cocks. They flew again amazingly! Yesterday the first middle distance race of the season took place. We entered our complete team on Melun (310km). The weather circumstances were difficult. The strong headwind made that the birds did not fly faster than 1,250 mpm. The arrival rate of our pigeons was very high. It was almost like they were released only a few kilometers away. The arrivals: Our birds were entered in the federation Union Antwerpen ZAV. They won the following results: Against 1,693 old birds: 1, 2, 9, 12, 13, 15, 32, 36, 44, 46, 54,… 24/28 ... and 18 prizes in the first 10% Against 2,131 yearlings: 4, 9, 10, 16, 17, 21, 24, 25, 27, 32, 34, 35, 43, 49, 53, 55, 56, 65, 67, 69, 80, 84, 85, 89, 92, 95,… 57/62 ... and 44 prizes in the first 10% All together 81 prizes of 90 entered birds ... and 62 prizes in the first 10%! We are well aware of the fact that this is a unique result and very difficult to repeat! Our first bird was “Aiesec”(B10-6052153). The best results of “La Bomba”: “Carla”(B08-6144012): 1° Limoges (640km) 230 p. Our first yearling was “Johnny”(B11-6282202). He is a result of a joint breeding with the Dutch combination Roegiest & Visser. They have very good results with off spring of our birds. The father of “Johnny” is a pigeon of ours. The mother is a bird of the Dutch combination and has got Vercammen blood in her vains too.

The blue hen B11-6282165 has flown three races so far this season and she won three times in the head of the race!

| Weekend without a race and a top reference |

Our racing team stayed at home last weekend due to the bad weather forecasts. Afterwards this turned out to be a good decision. The first middle distance race of the season, Melun (310km), was canceled. In the meanwhile we received again a super reference. The Dutch combination Roegiest & Visser has got a very talented yearling on their loft. Their yearling hen NL11-3017261 won as a youngster already 6° Provincial Pithiviers 5,093 pigeons. This year she started with the 1° fast. Peronne against about 8,000 pigeons! This bird is a grandchild to their superbreeder "Zoon Petra"(B04-6058441), who is a 100% Vercammen bird! He is a grandson to our legendary hen "Petra"(B95-6300210).

| Very good results on a two days basket race |

Past weekend there was again a race from Noyon (208km). The weather predictions were not good so we decided to enter the hens only. We gave the cocks a training race instead. The race from Noyon was flown on Monday instead of on Sunday. That means a two days stay in the basket! Our hens were entered in the federation ‘Het Nieuwe Noyonverbond’ and did it, just like last week, very well. These were the results: Against 475 old birds: 5, 12, 33, 43,… 10/11 Against 767 yearlings: 8, 11, 16, 24, 29, 38, 45, 46, 53, 54, 64,… 28/33 This means all together 38 prizes of 44 entered pigeons! Our first bird was our top hen “La Bomba”(B10-6052045). Her parents are “Simon”(B07-6221572) and “Sherryl”(B03-6287192). The siblings of “La Bomba” are performing great as well. It is just a great family of top performing birds! The best results of “La Bomba”:

After the bad weather of the past few weeks, we could enter our birds finally on their first official race of the season. Their farthest training distance was 100km. This weekend our birds flew Noyon (208km). The results were really good. Our cocks were entered in the federation ‘BAB’. These were the results: Against 526 old birds: 2, 3, 21,... 9/18 Against 623 yearlings: 1, 3, 13, 26, 35,… 15/30 Our hens were entered in the federation ‘Het Nieuwe Noyonverbond’. These were the results: Against 537 yearlings: 10, 22, 23, 24,… 18/33 The bird that won the 2° prize against 526 old birds is “Hunter”(B10-6052176). He was our third nominated bird. He is a very good racer. “Hunter” is a half-brother (same father) to our magnificent long distance hen “Viola”(B07-6221074). Our racing birds have done this week their first training tosses of the new racing season. The distance was however not that far yet. Depending of the weather we might enter them on a 100km race next week. Just like the previous seasons, we will give you every week an update about the races. We have noticed that these reports are popular, so there is no reason at all to change it! |

There is some extra information available about the World Ace Challenge winner. The bird was sold for more than $ 16,000 to the famous Chinese fancier Great Wall. So together with the price money this bird won $ 46,000! This bird, "Dolce Nera"(AU-11-24401), is bred from a full brother to "Barco"(B01-6387350) x a daughter to "Barco". It is really amazing that such an inbreeding pigeon has won the most important one loft race of America.

Last weekend Mr. Elton Dinga won the 1st prize in the most important one loft race of America, the World Ace Challenge! The loft is located near Texas. The price money was $ 30,000.
The concept of the World Ace Challenge is quite different from the usual one loft race. There are six important races. The pigeon with the highest average speed on these six races wins the World Ace Challenge. The distances of the races are 240km / 320km / 480km / 320km / 480km / 640km. On this way only the best and most solid pigeon is able to win this extremely difficult race. The pigeon 11-AU-24401 was the big winner of the World Ace Challenge. This bird is a grandchild and an inbreeding product to our magnificent breeder “Barco”(B01-6387350). It is really amazing how his children and grandchildren perform all over the world and in all weather circumstances.
Worldclass breeder "Barco" Another grandchild to “Barco” has won the 1° prize in the Mercedes Classic One Loft Race (USA). It was a 480km race. A direct child to “Barco” has won the 2° prize in the Nanjing One Loft Race (China). A grandchild of “Barco” was one of the big sensations in the Sun City Million Dollar Pigeon Race (South Africa) two years ago. This bird (“Worldcup”) won on the preliminary races: 3° against 3.752 p. 13° against 3.188 p. These are just a few examples to show how easily the “Barco” offspring is able to adapt to different circumstances. |

First of all we want to wish you all the best for 2012! The first article of the new year will be an edited version of an 2011 article. New pictures have been added. A lot of fanciers claim to have a ‘Golden breeding couple’ but actually these couples are very rare. We think we can present you without any exaggeration one of those fabulous breeding pairs. “Elektro”(B08-6174630) and “Gloria”(B06-6270117) are a couple for a bit more than two years now. They have already produced a fantastic number of top performing children. Below you will find a summary of the best ones, it is really impressive!
