Earlier this year we sent two pigeons to the Mira One Loft Race (Portugal). We were invited by the KBDB to send two birds to this OLR for the Belgian delegation being the 1st National Champion KBDB Great Middle Distance. Of course we accepted this honour.
One of those two pigeons is the blue hen “Mira Star”(BE23-6062385). This granddaughter to “Mustang”(BE14-6175237) was crowned as 3rd Ace-pigeon of the Mira One Loft Race 2023! In total 2,468 birds were entered for this OLR.
Interesting fact: the nest-mate of “Mira Star”(BE23-6062385), “Coconut 3”(BE23-6062386), won in the Costa Del Sol OLR (Spain) the 3° prize on Hotspot 1 (103km) against 1,649 pigeons. In total 2,402 birds were entered for this OLR.
We are proud of this success! We like to participate to One Loft Races but we never enter big teams. We only send a few birds to an OLR. It is a just a hobby during off season.
